Support Boovie

Hi, I'm Steve, the person behind Boovie.

I started working on Boovie because I love both books and movies, and I wanted to build something that makes it easier to discover books through their movie adaptations. What started as an idea became a little project that I've continued to build, maintain, and improve in my spare time.

Boovie is free to use, and I intend to keep it that way. Nothing on Boovie will be hidden behind a paywall. I want anyone to be able to use it without having to worry about subscriptions or paying to access the things Boovie provides.

The good news is that Boovie isn't particularly expensive to maintain. Most of the cost comes down to the server and, of course, my time spent building and maintaining the project.

However, I live in a country where the local currency is relatively weak compared with currencies such as the US dollar. That means services and infrastructure that may seem inexpensive in other parts of the world can become considerably more expensive when converted into my local currency.

So, if you've enjoyed using Boovie and would like to support it, you can make a donation through Ko-fi. Any contribution, no matter how small, is genuinely appreciated and helps offset some of the costs of keeping Boovie running.

But there is absolutely no pressure to donate, and donations are not expected.

If you can't donate, that's completely okay. Sharing Boovie with someone who might enjoy it is just as meaningful to me. Honestly, seeing more people discover and use something I built would make me a very happy man.
